CAV – Cave Diver
Advanced cave diving course. During this course, besides knowledge of the cave environment, equipment and configuration, accident analysis, psychological aspects of cave diving, communication, reel and line use, dive planning and air consumption, accident prevention and procedures and techniques of cavern diving, you also gain knowledge of decompression during cave diving.
Theoretical knowledge:
- Proper line and reel use
- Line-tracing techniques
- Missing diver/line
- Markings use
- Procedures of contact by touch (no visibility)
Practical exercises:
- Performing decompression with a decompression mixture
- Line and reel use
- Tracking line with and without a mask and without sight
- Sharing air with and without sight
- Contact by touch
- Special swimming techniques appropriate for cave diving (without raising silt)
- Different mock scenarios of searching for or tracking line, sharing air, apnea swimming or without sight
- At least eight (8) dives
Course duration:
5 days
- Theory: 10 hours
- Open water exercises and dives: 8-10 hours
Candidate prerequisites:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- CVN and TSD certificates or equivalent
- Completed medical statement (or a medical certificate not older than one year)
- Completed liability release and assumption of risk form

Not included in the price:
- Transport to locations, equipment rental, cylinder re-fills
Enrolment is only accepted after prepayment/deposit. In the case of unauthorized absence from the course, there is no return of the deposit.
